In December 2022, Gisselle transitioned to federal service with the Office of Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). While working full-time for the federal government, she continued pursuing her goal of becoming a licensed attorney in the United States. She studied for the Minnesota Bar Examination and passed on her first attempt. She subsequently transferred her license to Missouri, where she is now authorized to practice law.
Since March 2024, Gisselle has practiced as a Family Law and Immigration Attorney with Legal Aid of Western Missouri, representing individuals and families with a wide range of legal needs. Her family law experience includes divorce, paternity matters, modifications, Orders of Protection, and other complex domestic relations proceedings. She has also represented Spanish-speaking clients, allowing her to provide legal services to members of the community who may otherwise face language barriers when navigating the legal system.
In August 2026, Gisselle joined The G-E Law Firm, LLC, as a Partner. She is committed to providing thoughtful, thorough, and accessible legal representation to individuals and families throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area and surrounding Missouri counties, including Clay, Platte, Cass, and Buchanan.
Gisselle is fluent in English and Spanish and is passionate about helping clients understand their legal rights, navigate difficult transitions, and move forward with confidence.
In addition to her legal practice, Gisselle is a Certified Tax Return Preparer with more than a decade of experience preparing tax returns. Her background in taxation and federal government service provides her with a valuable understanding of the financial and legal issues that can intersect with family and immigration matters.
Gisselle is also the owner and founding partner of GP Tax Services, LLC, where she assists individuals, families, and businesses with navigating complex tax matters, including tax return preparation and issues involving the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and state Departments of Revenue. Her combined experience in tax preparation, federal service, immigration, and family law allows her to approach each client’s circumstances from a comprehensive perspective.
